Lodz Design - after visit

Finally, I managed to visit Festival Lodz Design 2009 exhibitions. I think, I can tell a lot here. Everyone draws attention to something else - graphics, furniture and applied art (more or less practical). There were shown items more or less known designers. Both Polish and foreign.

I, as an engineer by profession with interior designer passion, mainly interested in what practical, beautiful and original. I also liked the projects environmentally friendly. Lamps, chairs made of the re-cycled waste.

Here are few of my favorites.

Design: Kamila Stępniak (ASP w Łodzi), lamp

Design: Chen Hung-Ming/HOMMIN, "Necklace&clothes"

Design: Pink Pung Design, "Convallaria".

Hanging and standing lamps made of felt, inspired by nature - my favorite.

Design: Pedro Ochando, "Candelero" - all made of wax.

And also few of well-known Polish projects:

Design: Agnieszka Lasota, "Projekt Wiecha"

Design: Biuro Kreacja, "Koko"

Design: Kafti Design
